Single Mother's

All single mother's deserve special attention on Mother's day, in fact, they deserve something every day of the year, even Father's Day. No joke, its difficult to be a Good single mother.

Positive strategies of a Good Single Mother:

  • Show your love and remember to praise your child.
  • Create a routine. Structure helps your child know what to expect.
  • Find quality child care. Not just the cheapest or easiest.
  • Set limits. Don't let your kids get away with everything.
  • Don't feel guilty. Life is hard enough, you deserve praise too.
  • Take care of yourself. You deserve a life as well, take time for you.
  • Lean on others. Allow others to help, but don't take advantage.
  • Stay positive. It's hard sometimes, you can do this!

Single mothers need to take care of themselves. Whether it's making sure you eat well, taking time to exercise, keeping in touch with friends, getting enough rest, or even seeking professional counseling if you need it. You'll be a better mom if you make yourself a priority.

Active Mother's

Active mothers are on the run taking kids out on walks hiking to the park or to all of their childrens activities

 

She ran you around to all of your sporting events, bought all the needed gear and even encouraged you when you wanted to give up. She had no time for herself, she deserves the best!

An Active mother, often called a Good Enough Mom, does her best to:

  • Teach her child how to live life to the fullest. Explore and have fun.
  • Be there for her children when they need her. Hugs are healthy.
  • Teach her child the importance of self-worth. Confidence is key.
  • Provide food, shelter, and love. Stability as a child, teaches stability as an adult.
  • Be a good example to her children. You can't just say it, do it too.
  • Make time to have fun with her kids. Creating great memories is so important.

The current generation of moms probably do spend more time glued to a chair than moms of generations past. Outdoor mothers love to spend time in nature and bring their kids out to enjoy it as well

HOW TO FIND AND FOLLOW YOUR PATH INTO THE GREAT OUTDOORS:

  • Try different things. Keep life interesting.
  • Get the right gear. Be safe and use the right equipment for your adventures.
  • Find support groups. There are lots of other moms out there that would love to meet you.
  • Reward yourself.
  • Pack enough food and water. ...
  • Remember how it made you feel.

Living an outdoors lifestyle doesn’t need to be complicated or extreme. You don’t need to climb Everest or know how to build a canoe from twigs (although it would be awesome if you did).

It’s a simple as just making time, every day or week, to breathe fresh air, go for a walk, or do things you enjoy – outside!

Working Mother's

Working mothers don't get to spend as much time with their kids as they would like and need to make sure they take care of their selves with self care

 

The working mom is tired. She wants to spend more time with her children, but life has her away from her family because she has no other choice, so that they can have a life better than hers.

Ways Working Moms Can Balance Work and Family (And Be Happy):

  • Let go of the mom guilt. You're doing the best you can.
  • Use time saving hacks. Tik Tok has tons of them!
  • Find childcare providers that you trust. You little ones are well worth it.
  • Maintain open communication with your manager. They'll appreciate that you're a mom.
  • Reduce distractions and time wasters. Life is too precious, just like your little ones.
  • Reconnect with your friends and family. You'll need support.
  • Create special and meaningful family activities. Traditions are fun to discover together.

A working woman is expected to be a good wife and mother before anything else, never mind her professional status or skills. Many women themselves put a premium on being a good mother at the cost of their work or career.

Don't give up on yourself. You're doing great!
